About the role

Based out of Hallam or Epping, we are looking for a HC Truck Driver to drive our local metro route.

This is a full-time, ongoing position with an immediate start available. Rostered hours will be 5:30am / 6am start with a finish anywhere from 3pm to 5pm, depending on how busy we are and the season.

These hours are Monday – Friday, with some Saturday shifts required during our peak period in Spring.

Duties will likely include (but not be limited to):

  • Providing a high standard of customer service to Repurpose It customers as per delivery schedule and requirements
  • Delivery of products to clients and customers across local and surrounding areas (may include Metro Melbourne, Werribee, Melton, Peninsula, South Gippsland)
  • Adhering to road rules and regulations at all times
  • Completing pre-starts
  • Adhering to all safety policies and procedures
  • Other reasonable requests

About You

The following skills, experience and licenses are required for this role:

  • HC or HR Licence
  • Prior experience in driving large Trucks with tippers / trailers performing multiple drops
  • Experience with pig or dog trailers is highly desirable
  • Right to Work in Australia
  • Team player who can work well with others with excellent work ethic
  • Police check and pre-employment medical including drug screening (to be completed during the recruitment process).
