Digital Media Marketing and Social Media Coordinator

Position: Digital Media Marketing and Social Media Coordinator. In-house at our brand new facility in Williamstown North, 3016 VIC.
Hey It's Zac here to present an incredibly rare opportunity: We're looking to expand our digital media and marketing team here at GKTECH. It's no secret that we are well established in the motorsport and automotive community worldwide, with warehouses in Australia, the United States and Japan.
Over the years we have built a reputation of the highest quality in-house content creation, an incredibly tight knit social media community and become a resource of information for many with technical blogs and easy to follow full length install videos. Boasting a huge presence online with an extensive list of world class motorsport athletes working alongside us.
The role:
Content Creation & Management
Capture, design, write and coordinate engaging content consisting of photo, video and blog posts.
Ensure content reflects brand vision and messaging.
Schedule and publish across ALL social and digital channels.
Stay on top of digital and social media trends, algorithm changes, and competitor strategies.
Experiment with new formats (Reels, TikTok, Shorts, live streams).
Community Engagement
Monitor comments, messages, and mentions on all social media platforms.
Respond to followers in a genuine manner and aid in growing the online community.
Assist in managing influencer, motorsport athletes, event organiser and brand relationships.
Brand Alignment
Work closely with the website dev team, sales, and all members of the media team to ensure consistent brand messaging across all digital platforms.
Paid Advertising & Performance Marketing
Run paid campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, YouTube, etc.
Optimize campaigns for ROI (cost per click, conversion rate, ROAS).
Manage campaigns over popular sales periods such as Black Friday, EOFY & more.
Strategic planning
Develop and execute digital marketing strategies aligned with business goals, product releases and other news within the company.
Plan and manage multi-channel campaigns (social, email, search, display, etc.).
Analytics & Reporting
Track KPIs (reach, engagement, conversions, website traffic, sales).
Use tools like Google Analytics, Meta Insights, HubSpot, etc.
Report on performance and make data-driven recommendations.
Essential Skills:
Proven experience in digital marketing and/or social media management.
Short form video editing for content like Reels/TikTok.
Long form video editing for platforms such as YouTube.
Strong understanding of social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X.
Experience running paid campaigns such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, etc.
Proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Insights, Data Studio, or similar).
Content creation skills including but not limited to copywriting, Canva, Adobe and or similar tools.
Knowledge of SEO/SEM principles and basic website CMS platforms e.g: Shopify.
Experience with email marketing and automation tools such as Klaviyo etc
Understanding of e-commerce marketing

Detail-oriented with a strong sense of brand vision.
Some advantageous traits but not necessary include:
Experience with drifting and or other motorsport disciplines
Mechanical knowledge and experience owning and building a motorsport vehicle
