DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Freight Forwarder, Export Sea in Sydney.
The position is responsible for arranging and directing the transportation and shipment of export consignments from origin to destination by compiling, completing and verifying required documents in accordance with company policy and procedure and external body regulations.
Your typical day at DSV:
- Plan and prioritize export shipments from the Export Workbench to achieve milestone requirements, designated KPIs and deadlines.
- Deliver high-quality customer service.
- Collaborate with the Export Sea team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Follow SOPs, customer instructions, and management directives.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and service providers.
- Enter data accurately into CargoWise One and manage ECNs & PRAs.
About you:
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence and resolve conflicts.
- Calm under pressure and confident in managing challenges.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in CargoWise One, Microsoft Office, and familiar with industry regulations (RACA, IATA, Dangerous Goods).
