This role is responsible for facilitating the movement of products/equipment/materials out of the country, via freight, in accordance with organizational policy and procedure, and within compliance of relevant local, country and international laws and processes all while offering a quality service to our Suppliers and Customers.
The RoleThis position is responsible for the end-to-end coordination of air and ocean export shipments in accordance with JAS policy, customer SOPs, and regulatory compliance. The role requires strong operational knowledge, exceptional customer service, and proficiency in CargoWise to ensure efficient file handling, accurate documentation, and timely invoicing.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and coordinate all export documentation in CargoWise (HAWB/MAWB, HBL/MBL, invoices, EDNs, DG declarations).
- Arrange bookings with carriers/co-loaders and coordinate cargo pick-up, transfer, and terminal lodgement.
- Track shipments and proactively update customers, agents, and overseas offices with pre-alerts and status reports.
- Ensure compliance with IATA/IMDG regulations, destination requirements, and customs/export laws.
- Enter and validate costs/sell rates in CargoWise, issue invoices, and support clean month-end file close.
- Communicate with carriers, vendors, and customers to maintain positive and efficient working relationships.
- Assist other departments/divisions as needed or directed by management.
- Proven experience in air and sea freight forwarding exports.
- Strong CargoWise skills (job creation, milestones, invoicing, documentation).
- In-depth knowledge of export processes and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication skills with customers, suppliers, and overseas agents.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and perform well under pressure.
- Energetic team player with attention to detail and accuracy.
