Milling rice since 1990, we are proud to be one of the longest-standing and most trusted millers in the country.

Originally started as a family business serving the domestic market, City Rice has grown to become the largest rice exporter in volume in Cambodia from 2020 to 2024.

Our international market destinations include, but not limited to, France and its territories, Germany, Russia, the Czech Republic, New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, and China.

About the role: We're looking for an experienced Logistics/Export Administrator to join us in our Sen Sok (Phnom Penh) office.

This is a hands-on role within a small export team.

Key responsibilities:
• Documentation and Compliance: Preparing and reviewing shipping documents (contract, invoices, bills of lading, customs declarations), ensuring compliance with import/export regulations, and managing licenses and permits.

• Logistics and Shipping: Coordinating with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to arrange shipments, track progress, and ensure timely delivery.

• Customer Relationship Management: Maintaining communication with international clients, addressing their inquiries, and resolving any issues related to shipments.

• Negotiation and Cost Management: Negotiating freight rates and other costs associated with export operations, and potentially identifying opportunities to optimize costs.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Export Regulations: Understanding international trade laws, customs procedures, and export restrictions.

• Excellent Communication and Negotiation Skills: Effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders, negotiating rates, and resolving issues.

• Organizational and Problem-Solving Skills: Managing multiple tasks, prioritizing work, and troubleshooting problems related to export operations.

• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in documentation and compliance with regulations.

• Proficiency in relevant software: Familiarity with logistics management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Interpersonal Skills: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners.
