About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the design and implementation of a new Program and Project Management and Reporting Tool.

This role will be central to defining the future of project reporting and portfolio management across the organisation. You'll lead discovery activities, map current and future state processes, and translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements that guide solution design and delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity to shape a major transformation initiative that will improve visibility, efficiency, and decision-making at an enterprise level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and discovery into existing project management processes, reporting, and frameworks.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to gather and validate functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Develop detailed documentation, including current and future state workflows, business requirements, and specifications.
  • Support the creation of a Project Management Plan (PMP) aligned with delivery scope.
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Evaluate existing systems and tools for reporting and project tracking.
  • Prepare reports and artefacts such as discovery findings, business cases, and recommendation papers.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst on large-scale transformation or system implementation projects.
  • Strong background in business modelling, process improvement, and requirements definition
  • Experience working in complex or multi-stakeholder environments (public sector experience highly regarded).
  • Strong skills in process mapping, documentation, and communication.
  • Proficiency in requirements management tools and understanding of APIs/integrations.
  • Proven ability to facilitate workshops and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
