This growing national business delivers essential services to a diverse customer base across Australia and New Zealand. They have invested heavily in modernising its people and payroll systems to support ongoing growth and diversification.

About the role:

This is a opportunity to lead payroll operations and support a key payroll transformation project. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will manage payroll for a small, national workforce nationally while playing an important role in supporting the transition of payroll to an outsourced model.

Key priorities include:

  • Leading and developing the payroll team to deliver accurate and timely payroll services
  • Ensuring compliance with legislation and internal governance requirements
  • Supporting the payroll service transition and associated process changes
  • Partnering with stakeholders across the business to embed new ways of working

About you:

You are an experienced Payroll Manager who can step into a contract role and quickly deliver results. You bring strong payroll leadership, governance expertise and experience with payroll system transitions.

We are also looking for:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • The ability to lead and influence in a changing environment
  • Strong understanding of payroll process and policy development
  • Project management capability

This is an opportunity to lead day-to-day payroll operations while also playing a major role in the payroll transition.
