The job
As a New Business Salesperson, you will be responsible for driving the growth of CostX by identifying, pursuing, and closing new client opportunities within the construction and infrastructure sectors. You will engage with a range of stakeholders, from estimators to C-level executives, and guide them through the value proposition of CostX.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new business leads through outbound activity, referrals, and industry networks.
- Arrange product demonstrations and present tailored proposals to potential clients.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the construction space.
- Work closely with technical pre-sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Accurately maintain CRM records and sales forecasts.
Essential Requirements
- Proven success in a B2B sales role, ideally within the construction, software, or tech industry.
- Understanding of construction estimating workflows is highly regarded.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a passion for winning new business.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce or similar).
- Willingness to travel as needed.
