About The Role
As a Procurement Officer, you will oversee the administration and coordination of sales orders and ensure the timely procurement of parts and equipment to fulfill customer requirements. You'll work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders to maintain smooth operations and uphold financial compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all sales orders comply with financial approval levels and policies
- Raise purchase orders based on best price and delivery
- Expedite urgent orders and coordinate delivery with suppliers
- Manage purchase orders for stock and requisitioned items
- Identify and engage new suppliers and sources for parts
- Update and maintain product data in Business Central
- Track deliveries and communicate any potential delays to stakeholders
- Process direct shipments from suppliers to customers
- Follow up on non-conforming goods with suppliers and finance
- Review pricing of existing parts as needed
- Prepare reports and handle related administrative tasks including filing and document control
About You
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external partners
- Experience in inventory management and procurement
- Background in accounts, finance, or sales administration is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel with high computer literacy
- Customer-focused with a friendly and positive attitude
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Self-driven and able to work independently
- Able to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
