We are seeking an **enthusiastic **individual for the role of Procurement Assistant, to help The Grid Corporation in supporting our clients.

Someone who takes ownership and understands the importance of Customer Service. Your energy and willingness to get things done for the betterment of clients and your team mates will be rewarded with appreciation and incentives.

You will part of our Procurement team who are responsible for the sourcing of goods and services, across nominated categories within the business.

**As Procurement Assistant, your day-to-day tasks include**:

- The management of quotes, tenders, purchase requisitions; orders and securing goods and services
- Ensuring that the best possible price is found for requested goods.
- Providing administrative support to the Account Management Team
- Respond to pricing requests and enquiries from Internal Sales streams
- Accurate and timely processing of customer sales orders
- Work with Management to monitor vendor rebates & claims
- Weekly and Monthly Reporting
- Actively participate in sales and product training sessions
- Maintains records of goods that have been ordered and corresponding shipping dates
- Receiving all delivered goods at the office and updating the goods status as part of the receiving process

**Experience and Skill Sets**
- High attention to detail and adhering procurement processes
- The ability to demonstrate experience across all Procurement fundamentals - eg. sourcing, tendering, contracts, market research analysis, reporting and negotiations;
- Drive continuous improvement of cost and supply base performance

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
