The Partner and Alliances Team

The role is a critical component of Okta's ANZ Partner and Alliances team. This team's charter is to own the relationships and business development activities with Okta's partners in the ANZ market, and therefore be a significant contributor to Okta achieving its growth expectations in the region. Okta's GTM strategy in ANZ is a "Partner First" Strategy and this team plays a critical role in the successful execution of that strategy.

The Regional Alliances Manager Auth0 Opportunity

Reporting to the Director of Partners and Alliances, this role will be responsible for building and executing with a set number of key partners that delivers incremental pipeline and revenue to Auth0, as well as recruiting new Auth0 partners and ensuring strong alignment between partners and sales teams.

Specific Desired Role Outcomes:

  • Drive clear and strategic alignment between Auth0 and our key partners resulting in increased investment in Auth0 from these partners
  • Execute with these partners to deliver incremental opportunities in market for Auth0 measured by Deal Registration (DR) with an emphasis on achieving this through repeatable and scalable demand generation programs
  • Recruit new partners that can specifically assist Auth0 exceeding growth expectations
  • Grow  partner services capabilities across the Auth0 ecosystem that better services our existing customer base as well as drives incremental opportunities
  • Demonstrate the value of partnering with internal stakeholders notably the Auth0 sales team

What you'll be doing

Key priority focus areas are the following:

  • Manage bespoke AuthO development partners - recruit, drive business plans, enable, demand generation activities - outcome is DRs and DR closed business
  • Be the subject matter expert in the channel for emerging Auth0 tech - eg: Auth for GenAI, FGA
  • Evangelise Auth0 technology in existing Okta partners to assist build up Customer Identity/ Digital Experience skills and opportunities
  • Work in conjunction with Okta RAMs to execute the AuthO component f business plan
  • Drive Incremental Pipeline through Demand Generation Campaigns that have a significant impact on Auth0's ability to achieve its pipeline and revenue goals
  • Improve the partner ecosystem's Auth0 capability that assists us meet our joint goals, measured by their formal certification level growth across sales, pre-sales and delivery. You will be expected to execute sales enablement with partners
  • Understand your partners' business and articulate the value proposition of the partner to the Auth0 sales team.
  • Build meaningful and trusting relationships with key partner stakeholders that ensures their ongoing commitment to focus on executing in the market with Auth0.
  • Remove roadblocks at the partner, and be the escalation point for the partner back into Auth0. Ensure any roadblocks are removed as it relates to end of Quarter/Month timelines for deals that are being worked on with your partners

What you'll bring to the role

To be successful in the role, you will have a proven successful experience in achieving many of the following:

  • Proven successful experience in leveraging partners to drive incremental pipeline and revenue for vendors. Minimum 5+ years successful experience in this capacity.
  • Deep understanding of Customer Identity and its impact on Digital experience, revenue generation and technology adoption. Minimum 5+ years successful experience in this capacity.
  • Proven experience in building incremental pipeline via the building and execution of pipeline generation campaigns
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally
  • The ability to manage a virtual team behind a coordinated strategy and plan
  • Network in key Auth0 partners, both current and future
  • Passion to make a difference, high energy, team player, outcomes focused

And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following

  • Established relationships and business experience with key Global System Integrators in ANZ
  • Past experience working in Cybersecurity
