About the Role
We're a growing company in Narre Warren looking for an experienced Senior Accounts & Payroll Coordinator to take ownership of our finance operations. This is a trusted, hands-on role managing payroll, accounts, compliance, and banking.
You'll be responsible for ensuring everything runs smoothly — from staff payroll through to BAS and supplier invoices. You'll have full NAB banking access and work directly with our leadership team.
What You'll Do
- Manage weekly and monthly payroll via Xero and Employment Hero
- Oversee leave, entitlements, final pays, child support, and maternity leave
- Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, superannuation, and payroll tax
- Enter, reconcile, and pay monthly bills
- Review supplier invoices (e.g. Ideal Screws, Metroll, Battmans) and ensure discounts are applied
- Calculate and pay staff commissions
- Track and check contractor referral payments
- Manage NAB banking and ensure no payments are released without approval
- Work closely with leadership to support compliance and financial accuracy
About You
- 3+ years' experience in accounts or payroll
- Skilled in Xero and Employment Hero
- Strong knowledge of BAS, IAS, superannuation, and payroll tax
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- High integrity – trusted with banking access
- Confident working independently while supporting a team
What We Offer
- Salary $85,000 – $95,000 + super (depending on experience)
- On-site role in Narre Warren – no long city commute
