Workshop Manager Position

AADS Northern is seeking a dedicated Full Time Workshop Manager to join our Campbellfield team. As part of AADS Northern and its parent company, A&A DiMedio & Sons, our organisation brings over 40 years of expertise in manufacturing, maintaining, and repairing concrete truck agitators.

Role Overview

The Workshop Manager will oversee the daily safe and efficient operations of our mechanical workshop. Responsibilities include managing budgets, coordinating and scheduling job bookings from start to finish, and procuring the necessary parts, materials, and tools to keep workshop projects running smoothly.

This role combines leadership with hands-on involvement, requiring close collaboration with the Management Team, as well as mechanics and workshop assistants. Daily communication with customers is essential to understand their needs and ensure high-quality, timely service.

Main Responsibilities & Required Attributes

· Skills & experience working within the Heavy Vehicle Automotive trade or Welder/Fabricator preferred but not essential.

· Valid driver's licence (HR or higher is an advantage)

· Ability to effectively liaise with customers, suppliers, and team members

· Organizing parts and materials for necessary repairs

· Ability to work independently

· Leading and managing workshop staff

· Exceptional customer service and communication skills

· Strong safety focus; commitment to company and customer HSE policies and procedures

· Basic computer literacy

· Excellent planning and time management skills

· Ability to work on-site at the Campbellfield facility

· Supporting the service team as needed

· Prioritizing, supervising, delegating and scheduling daily tasks
