Whether you're already based locally or looking to relocate for a fresh opportunity, we're keen to connect with skilled civil workers ready to step up and lead from the front.

As a Pipe Crew Leading Hand or Foreman, you'll play a key role in supervising pipelayers, operators, and labourers on site. You'll be responsible for overseeing the installation of sewer, stormwater, and water mains, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Locations: Hervey Bay, Bundaberg, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane & Surrounds, Gold Coast, Toowoomba.
Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and assist crews across day-to-day operations.
  • Interpret plans and set out line, level, and grade.
  • Allocate labour and plant to meet production targets.
  • Liaise with Site Supervisors and Project Managers.
  • Uphold safety standards and site compliance (SWMS, JHAs).
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure quality assurance.
  • Mentor and support junior crew members.
Our Ideal Candidate:
  • Demonstrated experience in civil pipe installations.
  • Previous experience as a Leading Hand or Foreman.
  • Competency in reading plans and level setting.
  • Sound understanding of the SEQ Code and civil standards.
  • White Card and valid Driver's Licence (HR or MR advantageous).
  • Additional tickets such as excavator, confined space, or high-risk licences are highly regarded.
