The opportunity

Delaware North Australia is seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurants Manager to join our vibrant hospitality team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin.

This is a rare opportunity to lead the operations of multiple prestigious dining venues in a beautiful beachfront setting.

In this role, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of signature restaurants The Vue, Il Piatto, Dragon Court, and In-Room Dining, bringing your expertise in food service compliance, restaurant operations, and team leadership to the forefront.

What will you do?

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, licensing laws, and operational procedures
• Develop and implement innovative menus and promotions, manage inventory, and control costs to meet financial targets
• Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team of outlet managers, servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional guest service, cultivating a high-performing and inclusive workplace culture
• Monitor and analyse daily operational reports, providing actionable insights to enhance performance and guest satisfaction
• Engage with guests to anticipate needs, gather feedback, and continuously elevate the dining experience
• Cultivate a high-performing and inclusive workplace culture

More about you

• Proven restaurant management experience with extensive knowledge of five-star service protocols and guest engagement
• Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor team members
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts over a 7-day roster
• Knowledge of HACCP, WHS, and food safety standards.
• RSA, RSG, and Food Safety certifications.
