Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) has multiple requirements for Project Managers to manage the delivery of inflight initiatives across all areas of the agency; particularly in the Intelligence Operations, Intelligence and Information Systems, National Police Checking Service, Corporate and Enabling Services.
- A minimum of 5 years Project Management experience in the management and delivery of complex business and/or technical projects.
- Experience in mapping dependencies across projects and programs, as well as scheduling initiatives within a program of work.
- Ability to use, adapt, and work across various delivery methodologies.
- Experience working with and influencing internal and external stakeholders and partners to plan and successfully deliver programs and projects within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
- Experience in building and promoting program vision and developing a collaborative team culture and approach to delivery of program objectives and benefits.
- Experience in developing and presenting Board papers and briefing materials for SES audiences.
- Demonstrated experience with program governance, including planning, financials, reporting, risks and issues, benefits, dependency management, etc.
- Experience with Federal Government procurement processes to successfully engage and manage 3
rd
party vendors. - High level interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present and communicate information and expectations to stakeholders at all levels.
- Personal resilience and flexibility to deal with ambiguity and conflicting priorities to successfully deliver under pressure within a challenging environment.
- Experience working in a small to medium sized Federal Government Agency
- Experience working on projects within the Law Enforcement or Intelligence space is beneficial.
