Role

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development / Strategic Accounts Manager to help scale our business and deepen key client relationships, both locally and interstate.

As the Business Development & Strategic Accounts Manager, you'll play a dual role:

  • New Business Growth: Identify and secure new opportunities, build a strong pipeline, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
  • Strategic Account Management: Grow and manage key accounts, foster long-term partnerships, and lead contract negotiations.

You will work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and that we deliver solutions that support sustainable, mutual growth.


Key Responsibilities

· Prospect and generate new leads through networking, cold outreach, and market research

· Develop strategic proposals tailored to client needs

· Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders in key accounts

· Negotiate commercial terms, close deals, and manage contract renewals

· Forecast sales, maintain an accurate sales pipeline, and report on KPIs

· Collaborate internally to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of client solutions

· Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy


Qualifications & Experience

  • Significant experience in business development, account management, or strategic partnerships
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
  • Ability to manage multiple high-value clients and complex sales processes
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong relationship-building skills, particularly with project personnel and client representatives
