About MESO
MESO is a specialist provider of medical and emergency response workforce solutions to the WA mining and resources sector. We supply Registered Paramedics, Mine Rescue Paramedics, Registered Nurses, Emergency Services Officers (ESOs), Medical Emergency Services Officers (MESOs) and other safety personnel to remote and mining operations across Western Australia.
We also support our clients with:
- Professional training services
- Emergency and rescue equipment
- Mine-compliant emergency response and ambulance vehicles

The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Business Development / Marketing Manager on an initial 3-month contract, with the option to extend to a 12-month contract for the right candidate.
Your primary focus will be to expand MESO's footprint in the mining and resources sector, build strong client relationships, and promote our specialised clinical workforce and emergency services offering.
This role is ideal for someone who understands the mining industry, thrives on building connections, and can confidently represent a high-quality service provider.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the WA mining and resources industry
- Build and maintain relationships with HSE Managers, Emergency Response Coordinators, Health Managers, and Procurement teams
- Develop a structured sales pipeline and manage all leads, meetings and opportunities
- Prepare proposals and submit vendor pre-qualification documents
- Promote MESO's clinical workforce, emergency response capability, training and vehicle assets
- Attend industry networking events, expos and occasional site visits across regional WA
- Create marketing materials and LinkedIn content to support brand growth
- Work closely with internal recruitment and operations teams to meet client workforce needs
What We're Looking For
- Proven business development experience within mining, labour hire, emergency services, healthcare staffing, or related sectors
- Existing WA mining network highly desirable
- Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
- Confidence engaging with senior decision-makers and technical stakeholders
- Professional, proactive and self-driven approach
- Willingness to travel to regional WA on occasion for client meetings or site visits
