Are you a strong leader with a background in community or clinical services? Are you ready to take the next step in your career and lead a dedicated team of Support Workers and Registered Nurses? We're looking for an experienced, motivated, and compassionate Team Leader to join our growing organisation and play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional care delivery and team support.
About the Role:
As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision, support, and development of our frontline care staff. You'll ensure best practices are followed, training needs are met, and that we're delivering the highest standards of care to our clients-every time.
You'll work closely with the Intake and Rostering Team, HR, and report directly to the General Manager, Operations.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead, supervise and support all Support Workers and Registered Nurses.
- Conduct probation and annual performance reviews.
- Onboard new staff and oversee buddying/shadowing processes.
- Coordinate monthly team meetings (agendas, minutes, invitations).
- Support HR with compliance tracking and clinical audits.
- Identify and address training and skills gaps.
- Liaise with rostering regarding COVID+ allocations and rejections.
- Ensure PPE protocols and risk mitigation strategies are followed.
About You:
Fluent in Macedonian or Greek essential
Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role in community, disability, or health services.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Strong understanding of compliance, risk, and clinical governance.
Familiarity with CRM systems and high attention to data accuracy.
Able to work collaboratively with multiple internal teams.
Knowledge of OH&S, SIRS, and WorkSafe requirements.

What You'll Bring
Proven leadership experience in Aged Care or Community Services
Strong understanding of Home Care Packages (HCP) and person-centred care
Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities - Macedonian community experience highly regarded
You will need to be Macedonian or Greek speaking
Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Commitment to empowering and supporting ageing individuals to live independently at home
