About the RoleWe are currently hiring qualified and compassionate Support Workers for a variety of shifts, including immediate needs in:
Noble Park, Williams Landing, Heidelberg, Fairfield, Richmond, Maidstone, Epping, Caufield, Toorak, Armidale, Craigieburn & Deer Park
Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing transport and community access
- Social companionship and emotional support
- Light domestic tasks, shopping, and errands
- Supporting people with intellectual, psychosocial and physical disabilities
- Following care plans and encouraging routine and independence
Shifts typically range from 2–6 hours across weekdays and weekends.
What You'll NeedMandatory:
- A caring and compassionate personality
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care or equivalent
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Valid Driver's License and reliable, insured vehicle
- First Aid & CPR Certificate (HLTAID011 or equivalent)
- Working With Children Check (if applicable)
- Strong communication skills, patience, and emotional resilience
Desirable:
- Experience supporting people with autism, behaviours of concern, or physical disabilities (including wheelchair users)
- Understanding of trauma-informed care
- Multilingual or culturally aware background
- $35–$42.74/hr + super (SCHADS Award Levels 2–5 casual, weekday disability rates)
- Flexible hours to suit your availability
