We are looking for a vibrant and friendly Office Administrator to join our team on a full time basis.
We are a young and dynamic boutique accounting firm based on the city fringe. The firm deals with business and individual tax compliance and advisory services. We provide a very high standard of service and require that all employees be of exceptional calibre and commitment.
The Opportunity
Due to high growth, we are currently seeking a full time Office Administrator to work closely with the partners, staff and its existing client base.
The Position
It is imperative that the candidate has a professional and friendly attitude and exceptional telephone manners.
The candidate will be responsible but not limited to the following tasks:
- Reception duties including greeting clients, phone calls, assisting clients with queries and preparation of client mail in's/outs;
- General office administration which includes filing, stationery/office amenities orders and general housekeeping;
- Responsible for preparing, sending and filing ATO correspondences;
- Manage lodgement of tax returns and activity statements
- Basic accounts payable and accounts receivable (including invoicing and debtor collection);
- Assistance with corporate secretarial duties.
The Candidate
The successful applicant should have:
- Previous experience within a corporate or accounting setting is preferrable but not essential;
- Professional appearance and polite telephone etiquette;
- A desire to learn and develop within the firm;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively and multi-task;
- Basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook);
- The ability to work independently as well being a part of a team;
This role is for a self motivated, proactive individual who enjoys the ownership of their position, takes pride in their work, displays a commitment to quality, a dedication to the interests of their clients, a sincere desire to help and a commitment to the firm's policies and procedures.
The salary remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and any experience.
An immediate start is required.
The Candidate must also be an Australian Citizen or a permanent resident in Australia.
