Role Description

This is a flexible location, part-time role (with capacity for future full-time) for a Management Accountant. The Management Accountant will demonstrate their financial leadership, showing initiative, innovation and

business savvy approach to the financial dealings of My Support Australia. The position is responsible for the overall finance functions of the organisation, including management reporting, audit support, budgeting, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll. The position is also responsible to oversee the improvement of financially related internal controls and processes across the wider organisation and to support the operations through effective management of suppliers. You will support the executive management team by offering insights and financial analysis which will allow them to make the best business decisions for the company.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Financial Statements and Accounting
  • Experience with Accruals and other accounting practices
  • A thorough understanding of financial governance practices relevant to Aged Care and NDIS
  • Strong Analytical Skills to assess financial data and make strategic recommendations
  • Background in Finance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience in the healthcare, aged care or support services industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
