*Position Overview
JOB DESCRIPTION*
This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating and selecting suppliers and also managing ADHOC sourcing requests on behalf of the wider Civeo business. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements, negotiate best value for money and ensure that procured goods and services meet the company's standards within budget. Assist in the management of specific elements within the operational supply chain lifecycle such as Delivery, Quality Management, procure to pay, continuous improvement activities and procurement analytics as delegated by the Category Manager, Supply Chain.

This is a Monday to Friday office-based position with 2 days/week WFH.

*Key Responsibilities:*

  • Individual stakeholder and vendor relationship management; visit suppliers, stakeholders and sites as required.
  • Build high quality relationships with all internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Responsible for managing sourcing activities, including supplier selection, negotiations, and ensuring cost effective procurement strategies to meet budget and goals.
  • Responsible for overseeing and managing supplier non-conformance issues, ensuring timely resolution, and implementing corrective actions to maintain quality standards and supplier performance.
  • Procure 'fit for purpose' goods and services at the right price/value/quality/time from reputable diligent suppliers: documents process and decision making with appropriate sign-off.
  • Assist in the development and application of best practice systems for the supply chain including freight forwarding, shipping, warehousing, courier management, inventory management, reporting, shipment tracking visibility and KPI's.

*Qualifications:*

  • Tertiary qualifications in business / commerce preferred, not essential.

*Experience:*

  • Supply chain experience across multiple categories of spend.
  • Previous experience in a corporate environment dealing with complex organisational structures.
  • Experience in the hospitality or facilities management industry particularly in remote locations an advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:*

  • Understands and demonstrates a strong ability to communication (Verbal and Written) in a professional, collaborative and influencing manner.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Microsoft Office Suite and Business Intelligence software solutions.
  • Has the ability to undertake supplier negotiations when called upon by the category management team.
  • An enterprising and resourceful mindset in relation to procurement needs, sourcing processes and securing Civeo's supply lines.
  • Practises standardised procurement methodology with strong governance.
  • Immediate financial analysis and modelling skills; as to well demonstrate the commercial reasoning behind the procurement decisions to key stakeholders.
  • Collates periodical supplier performance management feedback.
  • Individual stakeholder and vendor relationship management; Visit suppliers, stakeholders and sites as required.
  • Ensures suppliers logistics and inventory processes are aligned with the business operating model.
  • Procure 'fit for purpose' goods and services at the right price/value/quality/time from reputable diligent suppliers: documents process and decision making with appropriate sign-off.
  • Assist in the development of, and apply best practice systems for the supply chain including freight forwarding, shipping, warehousing, courier management, inventory management, reporting, shipment tracking visibility and KPI's;
  • Demonstrates an understanding of Civeo's internal safety management systems and OH&S standards.
  • Comply with the highest standards of socially responsible procurement practices (including recycling programmes, waste reduction, local and indigenous procurement programs etc);
  • Uses market research, competitive analysis, and technology trends to guide the procure to pay process.
  • Build high quality relationships with all internal stakeholders and supplier.
  • Ensure all health, safety, quality and environmental standards and legislation are strictly met, ensuring a safe environment for employees, customers, contractors, and visitors, and promptly reporting any issues, potential issues or near miss events.
