The Opportunity
Fugro is seeking a Document Controller to join our Project Delivery Team in Perth.
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the administration, governance, and enhancement of Fugro's PIMS web-based document collaboration platform and document control practices. You will be responsible for ensuring all processes align with Fugro's document control standards. For those working more than 20 hours per week, there's the opportunity to take on extra project administration duties.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage Document Flow: Process submission requests and distribute returns from our central Document Control inbox to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Ensure Compliance: Confirm the consistent and correct use of our Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), specifically Pims, in accordance with Fugro's processes and client requirements.
- Drive Improvement: Proactively implement corrective actions to resolve non-compliance issues or improve workflow inefficiencies.
- Support Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal teams to manage and support ongoing system enhancements.
- Onboard New Hires: Train new employees on our document control procedures and systems.
About You
- You are a natural collaborator with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- You have a proactive, can-do attitude and are committed to seeing long-term projects through to completion.
- You are self-motivated and can work independently.
- Experience with EDMS platforms such as Pims, Aconex, or InEight is highly advantageous.
