We are a dynamic and growing real estate company looking for a talented Videographer to join our in-house marketing team. Reporting to the Head of Brand & Marketing, this position will be focused on producing engaging video content including: reels, videos, podcasts, interviews, talking heads, presentations, and other digital assets that showcase our properties and enhance our brand. This role has a strong element of travel - either between properties or our offices within the Greater Sydney region.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop & execute creative concepts for digital content on various platforms - aligning with Highland's brand values. This includes: weekly interactive, user-generated and behind-the-scenes content
  • Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos that showcase our brand, agents, and properties to capture the attention of potential clients
  • Analyse and report on social media metrics and adjust the content strategy as needed to improve engagement and reach
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging social media trends and best practices for visual storytelling
  • Drone operation for footage related to social media reels, as well as property advertising
  • Recording, filming, and editing of podcasts - we have just launched "The Home Front"
  • Promoting the agents, agency, property, and location in the best light
  • Video editing and production

In order to be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrate a strong portfolio of digital content creation and videography work
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience in content creation for social media platforms (especially in the real estate industry is desired)
  • Demonstrated experience with filming reels and podcasts
  • Understanding of how to use Adobe Creative Suite, video editing tools, social media platforms, and other digital content creation software
  • Proficiency with photography/videography, specifically for social media channels
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading ability
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills
  • Impeccable communication, both verbal and written
  • Experience recording, filming, editing, and posting podcasts to Spotify
  • Passion and energy within the role - desire to create innovative, engaging, and exciting work

Own equipment required for the role:

  • Good quality DSLR or equivalent
  • Drone
  • Relevant shooting accessories

Our ideal candidate possesses demonstrable experience and proficiency in the following:

  • Windows 11 Environment: Proven ability to navigate and operate efficiently within a Windows 11 operating system.
  • Microsoft 365 Environment: Experience working within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including familiarity with its core applications, and specifically with OneDrive and SharePoint for file management, storage, and collaboration.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud Suite for Video Production: Expertise in utilising Adobe Premiere Pro for editing, Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and visual effects, and Adobe Audition for audio post-production. Familiarity with Adobe Media Encoder and other relevant Adobe CC applications is a plus.
