About the role:
We are seeking a caring, organised, and detail-oriented Fundraising Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll help keep our fundraising activities running smoothly by ensuring donations are processed accurately, supporters feel valued, and our events and meetings are well supported. Your contribution will be gratefully appreciated by our team and will make a real difference to the people we serve.

Key responsibilties:
- Support our donors and community by managing calls, emails, and mail, always ensuring a positive experience.
- Process donations with care and accuracy so every gift is acknowledged promptly and correctly.
- Support our events by helping with RSVPs, preparing name tags, and being on hand during special fundraising occasions.
- Keep us organised by taking minutes at meetings, managing action items, and helping improve our processes.
- Contribute ideas and improvements that make our systems more effective and aligned with best practice.
About you:
- You are someone who enjoys being part of a team and takes pride in getting the details right.
- You're approachable, professional, and motivated by the idea that your work supports better healthcare for the community.
- Experience in administration, customer service, or finance.
- Great communication skills and a warm, friendly manner.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence with Microsoft Office; experience with CRMs is essential.
- A willingness to learn, take initiative, and be part of a collaborative, caring team.

Western Health also provides the primary healthcare service at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, a women's prison located in Ravenhall.
