Our client

Eastern Palliative Care Ltd is an essential, home-based care services organisation which provides specialist palliative care to individuals and their families through their end of life experience. EPC are a highly ethical based organisation, with staff that have a strong commitment to delivering quality care and advice to those who need it, with a strong empathetic culture, and who are respectful and insightful.

With a new strategic plan in place, EPC are looking for a talented, inspired Fundraising Manager to join their team, to drive independent philanthropic income which benefits patients and their families.

The role

Reporting to the General Manager, Business Services, the Fundraising Manager will take on a newly shaped role to deliver strategic fundraising in line with EPC's care identity.

The Fundraising Manager will be a pivotal role, engaging with the community and staff to produce authentic results. In line with the organisational strategic fundraising review, the role will help shape the ongoing investment in philanthropy and appeals, working with volunteer groups, clinical staff and the wider community to improve and support vital services.

In addition to this, the Fundraising Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Execution and delivery of the fundraising strategy with a focus on scalable digital initiatives that drive growth
  • Spearheading digital and social media campaigns, managing the CRM and website to increase donor awareness and conversion
  • Drive donor journey mapping and use metrics to understand fundraising trends and goals
  • Stewardship of donors of all levels to drive philanthropic goals
  • Be an active participant in the growth of the volunteer services program
  • Content development and story-telling to deliver authentic campaigns to donors who are engaged in the organisation

Skills and experience

The Fundraising Manager will have a strong level of autonomy (with the support of the Leadership Team) to continue to develop and implement the fundraising strategy for EPC. In order to be successful, the successful applicant will have the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in philanthropy, marketing, communications or similar field experience
  • A proven track record delivering and reporting on fundraising and philanthropy strategies
  • End to end campaign management experience
  • Strong experience working directly with donors at all levels to ensure stewardship is authentic and successful
  • Content development and delivery for unique audiences
  • Demonstrated success reaching/surpassing financial targets
  • Strong CRM and data analysis experience – in particular, Salesforce CRM and plug ins
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications and stakeholder engagement skills
  • An empathetic yet commercial nature working in complex organisations
  • A desire to work within healthcare, patient care and palliative care
  • A positive attitude and the willingness to motivate and lead others

This role is based in the Eastern suburbs in Melbourne. EPC offer flexibility in hybrid working.
