We are seeking a driven Assistant Development Manager to join our expanding development team. In this role, you'll gain hands-on exposure to end-to-end development delivery of landmark projects — while working closely with seasoned Development Managers and senior executives. About the role:

In this role, you'll play an integral part in shaping a diverse development portfolio, working across multiple projects in multiple asset classes. You will collaborate with leading consultants, contribute to the management of key contracts, and support stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard of quality. Reporting directly to an experienced Development Manager, you'll gain invaluable exposure to the full development lifecycle and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact from day one.

Your duties:

  • Support the development team in managing all aspects of the development life cycle
  • Liaising and assisting in discussions with the relevant authorities, agents and builders, as directed by the DM/SDM
  • Ensure processing, accurate coding and approval of project costs whilst assisting in managing project budgets and programs
  • Work closely with the development team to compile feasibilities and maintain regular project forecasts to ensure the project meets the financial hurdles.
  • Assist in analysing development options, forecast sales, pricing and delivery of projects.
  • Assist in the planning, design and delivery of project development strategies.
  • Manage the communication of project issues and project performance to the DM

Skills:

  • Relevant tertiary degree or qualification in relation to construction or property
  • Advantage to have previous experience in planning, organising and coordinating development, design, construction and marketing
  • Excellent communication, computer and time-management skills
  • You are driven, motivated and enthusiastic
