Full Job Description

Loulou is a French all-day Bistro, Boulangerie and Traiteur located in the heart of Sydney's CBD. We're passionate about croissants, viennoiserie, freshly baked breads, and quality produce-led menus, served with warmth and precision.

We are currently seeking an experienced Breakfast Chef to join our opening team and take ownership of the early shift. If you thrive in the calm and pace of breakfast service and want to be part of something special, this is the role for you.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Head Chef and Loulou's Concept Executive Chef, the Breakfast Chef will take responsibility for the early shift, ensuring all dishes are prepared and served to the highest standard. You will work in a focused section of the kitchen, with access to quality ingredients, efficient systems, and a supportive team culture.

This Full-Time role is ideal for a Chef de Partie-level candidate with solid breakfast or brunch experience in high-quality or hatted venues, looking for stability, structure, and a great work-life balance.

What You Bring
  • Proven experience in breakfast/brunch service
  • Commercial Cookery qualification or equivalent experience
  • 2 years in fast-paced, premium dining or hotel kitchens
  • Strong attention to detail with consistency in plating and timing
  • Reliability, organisation, and a calm, collaborative attitude
  • A passion for early service and a desire to grow in a quality-focused kitchen
