Breakfast and Pastry Chef

  • Food Preparation:Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes, including buffets and cook-to-order items, ensuring high standards of presentation and quality.
  • Inventory & Stock Management:Check inventory, order ingredients, and rotate stock to ensure freshness, minimize waste, and maintain high standards.
  • Hygiene & Safety:Maintain a spotless and organized work environment, adhering to strict hygiene and health and safety regulations, including HACCP guidelines.
  • Teamwork:Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house teams to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
  • Menu Development:Contribute to the development and refinement of breakfast menus and specials.
  • Automated Inventory & Ordering:Use AI to monitor ingredient levels in real-time, predict future needs, and automate ordering processes, reducing manual effort and preventing stockouts.
  • Recipe Optimization:Leverage AI-powered tools to analyze recipes for nutritional content, cost-effectiveness, and potential allergen flags, aiding in menu planning and updates.
  • Smart Kitchen Integration:Utilize AI-enabled kitchen equipment that can monitor cooking temperatures, cooking times, and equipment efficiency, providing alerts and data for better kitchen management.
  • Data-Driven Menu Insights:Employ AI to analyze customer feedback and sales data to identify popular dishes, anticipate trends, and optimize the breakfast menu for better guest satisfaction and profitability.
  • Waste Reduction:Utilize AI analytics to track ingredient usage and waste patterns, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting more efficient preparation methods.
  • We are looking for the right person to join our team . Chef, or 3rd year chef.
  • 4 to 5 days a week .
  • Must be able to work public holidays ,
  • Work well as part of a team and also solo .
  • Must have all knowledge of breakfast brunch lunch menu and skills in artisan baking
  • Will be required to also design a weekly specials .
