We're looking for a capable People & Culture Consultant as a parental leave cover until January 2027.
What you will be working on:
• Providing day-to-day People advice and support to managers and employees across all sites (Australia, New Zealand, Manila), helping improve the employee experience.
• Delivering recruitment, onboarding, and strategies for attracting and retaining top talent.
• Contributing creative ideas to the development and evolution of our Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
• Assisting leaders in employee relations matters, including performance management and coaching.
• Improving People systems & processes: helping identify automation opportunities, streamline recurring tasks, and reduce friction.
• Working on projects such as policy reviews, leadership development, inclusion strategies, and performance review systems.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and systems to support compliance in line with local employment laws.
A bit about you:
• You have generalist HR experience (HR Advisor, HR Consultant, HR Officer or equivalent) right across the employee lifecycle.
• You are comfortable switching between hands-on operational work and longer-term project-focused work.
• You're adept at attracting and retaining people — you think about EVP, engagement, culture.
• You communicate clearly and effectively at all levels; you are a trusted advisor to people leaders. You can think on your feet and adapt to the needs of the business.
• You're tech-savvy: confident with people systems, and curious about how automation can improve efficiency.
• You have an exceptional attention to detail and capability in creating high-quality content and documentation.
• You are well organised, enjoy juggling many tasks, and know how to prioritise to deliver good outcomes.
• Most importantly, you want to contribute to building a workplace where people feel connected, supported, and proud to be part of ASI.
