**Company Overview**
The establishment of the Malouf Family Office (MFO) whose core role is to protect and expand the family’s assets providing a stable and safe financial environment that looks generations into the future, whilst simultaneously delivering on the short
- and medium-term investment goals of the family.
The family office has investments, businesses, and assets within several sectors. With staff and interests as far reaching as Europe and the USA.
The MFO portfolio includes:
- Ahoy Club Yacht Charters which is at a critical time of growth as we further develop our tech and international reach to be the #1 consumer platform for chartering yachts anywhere in the world
- A fleet of superyachts available for charter in Australia and Europe with associated crew
- An exciting Property Development business with local commercial and residential property interests as well as developments
- Family office investment arm, associated family office staff and centralised functions supporting the business areas
- Other business investments
**Job Overview**
This is a diverse role and a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join the family group at the point where the businesses are evolving at an exciting pace.
**Key roles & responsibilities**
- End to end recruitment for all roles globally
- Act as a consultant to new hires and help them onboard
- Design compensation and benefits packages
- Lead performance review procedures (e.g., quarterly/annual and 360° evaluations)
- Develop / review HR policies and ensure employees understand and comply with them
- Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives for all employees
- Act as the point of contact regarding all ER matters
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
**What we’re looking for**
- Proven work experience as an HR Generalist, ideally within a global environment
- Familiarity with Human Resources Management Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems
- Proven experience with full cycle recruiting, ideally globally
- People Oriented and Results Driven
- Good knowledge of labour legislation (particularly employment contracts, employee leaves and insurance)
- Demonstrable leadership abilities
- Strong decision-making skills
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- Excellent communication skills
- Degree in Human Resources Management or relevant field
**Family Office team**
As part of the family office, you will join a small group of experienced professionals that work alongside family members and advisors in developing, supporting, evolving and executing the family’s strategic vision. Also acting in the direct capacity as the HR Manager in the Ahoy Club business and other wholly owned businesses as they further develop.
