Are you an experienced administrator who loves being the steady hand behind a busy accounting team? We're looking for a professional Practice Administrator who knows how accounting firms operate and takes pride in creating structure, clarity, and calm in a fast-moving environment.

This role will suit someone who enjoys variety — from managing client data and reports to supporting compliance and keeping operations running smoothly. You'll join a warm, close-knit accounting team that values professionalism, trust, and genuine care for both clients and each other.

The opportunity

In this hands-on role, you'll provide critical support to the team across client management, administration, and practice operations. You'll help maintain accuracy in reporting, ensure compliance deadlines are met, and play a key role in keeping the practice efficient and well-organised.

You'll be involved in:


• Preparing client and compliance documentation, including trust distribution minutes and ATO lodgement support.


• Maintaining accurate client information in MPM and updating details as required.


• Supporting the invoicing process, monitoring WIP, and assisting with debtors and reporting.


• Providing administrative support to the superannuation team and assisting with related documentation.


• Liaising with the ATO and managing records through SmartDocs.


• Working collaboratively with another Practice Administrator to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

About you

You're someone who brings both initiative and attention to detail — the type of person who sees what needs to be done and quietly makes it happen. You've worked within an accounting or professional services firm before and understand the balance between accuracy, deadlines, and client service.

You'll also bring:


• Proven administrative experience within an accounting or professional services environment.


• Familiarity with MPM, SmartDocs, or similar practice management systems.


• Strong organisational and communication skills.


• A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with a calm and reliable approach.
