Dental Receptionist

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Dental Receptionist / Senior Dental Assistant with a mature can-do attitude, who wants to grow and be part of our family-run dental practice.

We are a long-standing practice and offer a full range of general, cosmetic, orthodontic, and implant dentistry

• Patient management: greeting and welcoming patients, answering all phone enquiries, making & confirming appointments, processing & managing customer accounts, coordinating lab jobs
• Patient care from entry to the surgery, recall management
• Explaining procedures, estimates, and post-treatment care clearly and compassionately
• Chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry in a variety of general dental treatment, orthodontics and implants
• Maintain our strict infection control standards and stock levels for dental surgeries

• Daily reception and clinical checklists

• Contributing ideas to enhance clinical operations and patient experience

• Minimum 4+years' experience in all roles as a Dental Receptionist/ Senior Dental Assistant
• Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal & customer service skills, ability to manage patient expectations and payment plans with empathy and professionalism

• Certificate III & IV in Dental Assisting, four-handed dentistry- it's second nature to you

• Growth mindset – you'll be trained into our policies and procedures and should feel comfortable being mentored into our practice
• Strong organisational, administration and time management skills

• Detailed infection control knowledge

• Proficiency in dental software – Dentally preferred

• Full Australian working rights (essential)

• Availability to work 8am–6pm, flexible with part -time 3-4 days/ week (negotiable)
