Administration Assistant - Full Time - Lake Health Group
Lake Health Group, established in 2002, is Ballarat's leading Allied Health Practice providing Physiotherapy, Remedial Massage, and Podiatry. Our group is committed to best practice in patient care through evidence-based treatment with our clinical team, supported by our administrative services team. We are currently looking for a full-time to join our Administration Services team.
As a member of our team, your role will be focused on delivering exceptional customer service to patients and customers, ensuring the smooth operation of the practice, and maintaining workflow efficiency. We are looking for individuals who will thrive in a dynamic, supportive environment and contribute positively to our patient care.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide a welcoming and caring experience for clients
- Manage the practice diary, including scheduling appointments, patient follow-up, and minimizing cancellations
- Process payments and handle inquiries
- Follow and develop practice processes and systems to support the administration services function
- Liaise with therapists in a friendly and supportive manner
- Complete open and close duties on a roster between the hours of 7:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and availability for a rotating Saturday roster
Skills & Experience:
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build rapport
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including phone manner
- Attention to detail
- Prioritization and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work calmly in a busy environment and openness to feedback
- Proficiency with computers and phones
Desirable but not essential:
- Experience in health care administration
- Interest in health, fitness, and wellbeing
- Social media/public relations skills and additional computer troubleshooting skills
