About the role

Hay Street Medical Centre is seeking a skilled and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the smooth running of our thriving general practice in Subiaco, Western Australia. As Practice Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services to our patients. This is a part-time position based on-site. A full-time position is available if this best suits the ideal candidate.

What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing all administrative and operational aspects of the medical practice
  • Managing staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling and performance management
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, policies and procedures
  • Implementing and monitoring quality assurance processes
  • Overseeing financial management, including budgeting, reporting and billing
  • Liaising with healthcare providers, suppliers and other stakeholders
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance patient experience and practice efficiency

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Practice Manager or similar management role in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent understanding of general practice operations and regulatory requirements
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Proficient in financial management and data analysis
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with Medical, Nursing and Non-Clinical colleagues
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centred care
