We are seeking an experienced Practice Lead – Commercial & Infrastructure Delivery to lead our Advisory practice in Western Australia. This senior leadership role will drive growth across major Water, Transport (Road/Rail), Port and Energy projects, while also expanding opportunities across strategy and investment engagements.

Acting as the face of RPS Advisory in WA, you'll shape go-to-market strategies, oversee bids and proposals, build strong client relationships, and ensure commercial excellence. You'll balance near-term outcomes with long-term competitiveness while fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture that reflects our values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead practice direction, growth and client engagement across WA.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities in line with strategy.
  • Oversee project governance, delivery and risk management.
  • Build and develop a high-performing, multidisciplinary team.
  • Ensure strong commercial outcomes – revenue, margin, pipeline and service quality.
  • Represent RPS at industry events as a trusted advisor and subject-matter expert.

About You
You are a proven leader with deep experience in consulting, engineering or government, and a strong commercial track record in complex infrastructure or energy projects. You are strategic, client-focused and commercially astute, with a passion for building teams that thrive.

Essential Experience And Attributes Include

  • 15+ years in consultancy or government, with relevant tertiary qualifications (Engineering, Commerce or Law).
  • Proven success leading P&L, accountable for revenue, margin and growth.
  • Established WA network with senior executives and decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated success in shaping and winning bids/proposals.
  • Strong financial and commercial management skills.
  • Leadership of inclusive, high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
