**Description**:
Patches is seeking a highly motivated and results oriented Project Manager to join our team on a two-year contract, with opportunities for extension, to manage the delivery of Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) assessment services nationally. The role will manage our FASD Service Delivery, grants for FASD, Community Reference Groups, Project Staff and will be focused on achieving the maximum number of FASD reports. This role will ideally be based in Subiaco, WA with the ability to travel. Other locations that will be considered are Adelaide, Melbourne, and Newcastle.

Patches is a multidisciplinary Therapy and Assessment team which includes Neuropsychologists, Forensic Psychologists, Psychologists, Paediatricians, Psychiatrists, Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists, extensively supported by management and clinical administrative staff. We aim to provide a one-stop-shop model where clients can receive all the assessments required for a diagnosis from the one service. We diagnose complex conditions including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, ADHD, and common Mental Health Conditions.
Our mission is to provide excellence in assessment of complex neurodevelopmental conditions for children, youth and adults. Patches operates a metropolitan service, and provides outreach to regional, remote and Aboriginal community settings, and Justice and Child Protection settings.
We are well established in WA and the NT and are now expanding to South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania. We are looking for energetic, motivated, passionate people to help us establish and grow our service at these new sites.
**The Role**
You will manage our FASD service delivery nationally with key deliverables including:
- Oversee development and maintenance of relationships with key stakeholders of the project and across FASD clinic locations; ongoing engagement with project Community Reference Group members; planning and implementing FASD awareness and educational events for relevant professionals.
- Oversee operation of FASD assessment clinics; establishing and refining sustainable referral pathways for clients to receive assessment services; ensure accurate and up-to-date recording of client data across service sites.
As well as:
- Overseeing schedules, grant reporting, budgets and related governance activities for the project
- Assuring compliance of all Patches activities with current contracts, and reporting on the progress of activities as required by these contracts
- Responsibility for all aspects of recruitment, onboarding and termination of staff and contractors as per management approved protocols
**What you will need to succeed (Selection Criteria)**
- A tertiary qualification in allied health or medical field; or significant experience in health-related project management or organisational management
- Proven track record of project management experience within a large organisation
- Successful delivery of projects with tight deadlines, on time and to budget
- Experience working with government grants and reporting
- Experience in the area of business/organisational management, community development
- Demonstrated ability to set goals, develop priorities and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated capacity to work with communities (in particular Indigenous communities) in a respectful and appropriate manner
- Experience managing teams including in remote locations highly desirable
