Company Overview:

Aries Rail is a leading manufacturer and supplier of specialized rail equipment and services. Delivering solutions to the rail industry, with a commitment to quality, safety and innovation.  We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized Project Coordinator to join the team at our headquarters in Wangara.

Position Summary:

The Project Manager will support Management and project teams in the planning, execution, and finalization of projects according to deadlines and within budget. This role involves coordinating the efforts of team members, communicating with clients, and managing project documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Management in planning, scheduling, and managing project timelines.
  • Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
  • Monitor and track project progress, identifying potential issues and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, meeting minutes, status reports, and other necessary documentation.
  • Facilitate effective communication between team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring that financial objectives are met.
  • Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and follow up on action items.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Support risk management activities by identifying potential risks and assisting in the development of mitigation strategies.
  • Provide administrative support to the project team as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Manager or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Proficient in utilising ERP software such as Acumatica or SAP
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Certification in project management (PMP, CAPM) is a plus.
