Key responsibilities

Estimating commercial, medical projects

Oversee project planning, execution and completion ensuring all tasks are completed according to scope and quality standards

Direct and motivate a team, delegating task, coaching and managing employees

Track projects progress against established timelines and budgets, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget

Liase with team members, clients and management providing regular project updates

Prepare and create quotes for commercial projects

Create and manage work orders for construction and repair projects

Preparing and completing tendering requirements from inception to final price inclusive of full drawings and specifications

Developing accurate budget estimated prices from drawings

Preparing and sending quotes and variations

Communicating and liaising professionally with external stakeholders during the tender process, including Clients, Architects, Designers, Subcontractors and Government Agencies

Assisting in the checking of quantities, pricing and submission documents for tenders submission and quotes

Updating and providing feedback to suppliers and sub-contractors

Creating construction programs and methodologies that align to tender and quoting requirements

Ensure compliance with HS&E requirements, fostering a safe workplace

Desirable skills and experience

Reasonable Construction knowledge with some practical experience in Commercial construction being highly regarded

Knowledge of project management and estimating

Sound computer literacy skills in relevant fields

Attention to details

Ability to prioritise tasks and organize a busy workload

Capacity and willingness to work in a team environment
