As the GM - Projects, you'll lead the team delivering the day-to-day jobs while personally driving the larger, more complex projects. You'll be hands-on where it counts and building the systems that lift performance across all project sizes.

This challenging, exciting role will carry key functions for this growing business, including:

  • Take ownership of the major / complex projects — managing timelines, cost, scope, QA, forecasting, and subcontractors through to close-out.
  • Oversee delivery of smaller, fast-moving jobs via your site teams — holding quality, safety, and accountability on every site.
  • Drive accurate forecasting, progress claims and variations — supported by strong systems and a dedicated Commercial & Risk function.
  • Co-ordinate procurement planning — working closely with internal teams to ensure timely supply of materials, labour, and subcontractors.
  • Be visible and engaged — on-site regularly, leading from the front, not behind a screen.
  • Build and embed the delivery systems that keep things consistent — across every project size and stage.
  • Work hand-in-hand with Commercial & Risk team — aligning project delivery with contract, compliance, and margin controls.
  • Lead, mentor and develop high-performing site teams that translate directly into safer sites, smoother delivery, and projects finished with precision and pride.

Your ability to drive systems, lift performance, and balance multiple jobs with calm control will strengthen your application further.
