The Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Account Manager to join a high-performing team that manages a large strategic national account customer. This role focuses on managing and strengthening relationships across two key operational divisions Supply Chain & Manufacturing for this important national customer.

Reporting to the Account Director, you will play a central role in ensuring exceptional service delivery, operational compliance, and continuous improvement across the portfolio of sites in these divisions. You'll partner closely with customer stakeholders and internal operational teams to deliver on performance, safety, and sustainability objectives—driving initiatives that support waste diversion, service optimisation, and long-term customer value.

Key Responsibilities

Account & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain trusted, productive relationships with key stakeholders across the customer's Supply Chain and Manufacturing divisions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day and tactical account matters, ensuring issues are managed promptly and proactively.
  • Support the Strategic Account Director in delivering on the broader account strategy and governance framework.

Operational Excellence & Service Delivery

  • Lead regular governance meetings, preparing and managing agendas, action registers, and minutes to ensure accountability and follow-through.
  • Monitor and drive service compliance and proactive service performance, working closely with operations teams to address issues before they escalate.
  • Coordinate and conduct site visits quarterly (or as required) to maintain engagement, identify opportunities, and strengthen service outcomes.
  • Ensure alignment of the Right Servicing model to meet customer site requirements and operational efficiency goals.

Performance & KPI Management

  • Deliver on portfolio KPIs including service reliability, customer satisfaction, and operational targets.
  • Track, analyse, and report performance outcomes, ensuring visibility of progress and areas for improvement.
  • Support governance reporting and presentations to senior stakeholders within both organisations.

Safety & Sustainability

  • Champion safety leadership by monitoring and responding to hazards and incidents within your portfolio, driving timely and effective close-out actions.
  • Lead delivery of waste diversion initiatives and circular economy solutions to support the customer's environmental and sustainability goals.

About You

  • Experience: 3–5 years in account management, contract management, or client service delivery within large or complex B2B environments.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-site operations or large customer portfolios with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a structured approach to account planning and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Background in waste management, logistics, manufacturing, or related industries (preferred).
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, environmental management, or a related discipline (preferred).

Why Join Us?

  • Meaningful Impact: Work with one of Australia's largest sustainability partners supporting a nationally significant customer.
