The Business Development Manager (BDM) a will spearhead growth initiatives for their residential aged care homes and home care services. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence, forging strategic partnerships, and enhancing our service offerings to meet the evolving needs of older Australians.

Description

  • Strategic Planning & Market Expansion

    Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive growth across residential and home care services.
  • Relationship Management

    Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies.
  • Lead Generation & Conversion

    Identify and pursue new business opportunities, converting leads into long-term clients through effective sales techniques and personalized service offerings.
  • Brand Positioning & Marketing

    Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance The Jesmond Group's brand presence, ensuring alignment with our mission and values.
  • Service Innovation

    Work closely with clinical and operational teams to identify opportunities for service enhancement and innovation, ensuring we meet the diverse needs of our clients.
  • Performance Metrics & Reporting

    Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular updates to the executive team on business development activities and outcomes

Profile

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in business development or sales within the aged care or healthcare sector.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of aged care regulations, funding models, and market dynamics.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences.
  • Analytical: Proficient in analyzing market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
