Inventory Coordinator

As our new Inventory Coordinator you will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse team in carrying out all aspects of the warehousing and logistical requirements at Move-in. This hands on role will coordinate, receipt, dispatch, warehousing and inventory requirements.
This is a permanent full time position with great working hours.
Duties Include:
Goods receipt, unloading and dispatch
Stock co-ordination, storage, labelling and stock take
Installations
Key Skills
The following skills are required. Training and professional development can be provided to supplement any areas where necessary.
Minimum 3 years warehouse experience required
Previous experience in the furniture industry preferred
LF (forklift) license required
Basic MS Office (Excel and Word and Outlook)
Planning & time management skills
Handy-man skills and manual labour
Current drivers licence and must be able to drive a manual vehicle
Client facing skills and good presentation
Roles and Responsibilities
Part A – Goods receipt, unloading and dispatch
Unload and check goods against order/inventory receipts
Forklift operation
Undertake some furniture assembly and quality control procedures
Part B – Stock Coordination, storage and labelling
The WA will assist in the care and management of all stock, stock movement, storage and security of the warehouse.
Be responsible for and carry out company policies and procedures.
Maintain physical condition of warehouse and stock
Carry out stock takes
Prepare, label and group stock for all installations
Maintain stock in correct groupings
Part C - Delivery and Installation Assistance
Assist in coordinating external contract teams
Ensure MI site brand standards are met
