Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Prepare and lodge BAS for multiple entities
- Produce monthly management reports including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
- Assist with year-end reporting and liaise with our Tax Accountant
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies and reporting standards
Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis
Develop, manage and monitor budgets and forecasts across various companies
- Analyse financial performance to identify trends, risks and opportunities
- Conduct profitability analysis for projects, business units and new ventures
Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making
Month-End & General Accounting
Complete end-of-month tasks including journals, accruals and prepayments
- Manage balance sheet items and ensure accuracy across accounts
Support asset finance and loan documentation processes
Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with departmental managers and key stakeholders to provide financial guidance
- Deliver regular investor reporting and updates
- Assist with AP/AR functions when needed to support the broader finance team
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, or equivalent
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Ability to multi-task and work within a fast-paced environment
- Xero experience an advantage
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Strong communication skills and time management
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to identify and solve problems
- Must be available to work Monday - Friday (start/finish times flexible)

Salary range is between $80,000 - $100,000 depending on prior experience.
