Due to the continual growth of our organisation, we are currently seeking an energetic and experienced Account Manager to join our sales team based in Geelong. Primary focus will be to look after our existing customers in the Geelong area and Western suburbs of Melbourne as well as secure new business opportunities at the same time.

About the role

  • This field sales position is full-time permanent. Reporting to the State Sales Manager and Branch General Manager, you will promote the Company's products and services and build relationships with new and existing accounts.
  • Develop new business and grow the pantry range with existing accounts.
  • Identify opportunities and generate leads.
  • Assist customer queries about products, prices, availability, and product uses.
  • Start-to-end management of your customer accounts i.e. structured call cycle
  • Review and analyse weekly and monthly reports (sales/gross profit margin data, and account profitability).
  • Perform administrative duties such as preparing monthly reports, sales proposals, quotes, and applications, and maintaining call logs and sales records.
  • Promote & drive the SAVE loyalty program

All about you

  • A Minimum of 2years of experience in a similar role.
  • Prior FMCG or food service experience will be highly regarded.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced customer facing environment.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Be efficient with computers including Microsoft Suite
  • Be proficient in utilising your sales reports to generate better outcomes
  • Must possess a valid Australian driver's license
