The Role:

As an Estimator with a strong sales focus, you'll play a key role in driving revenue by accurately costing projects and building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers. You'll be responsible for turning enquiries into competitive, high-conversion quotes while offering technical guidance and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for fencing, gate, and bollard installations
  • Review technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure clarity and competitiveness
  • Proactively follow up on quotes to maximise conversion rates
  • Identify opportunities or recommend alternative solutions
  • Maintain accurate records of all quotations, negotiations, and project updates
  • Support the sales and project teams throughout pre- and post-contract phases
  • Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an estimator within the commercial fencing, gates, or bollards sector
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance cost and value
  • Confident communicator with a customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with estimating software (e.g. Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar) advantageous
  • Full SA driving licence preferred
  • Sales and results driven
  • Be organised and able to prioritise
