AusRAMD Engineering is a leading Australian manufacturer of rail turnout systems, providing design, CNC machining, and project delivery for major rail infrastructure projects nationwide. Our team blends engineering precision with real-world practicality, supporting clients across freight, passenger and heavy haul networks.
Role Description
We're seeking a Technical Sales professional to manage tenders, quotations, and client relationships from early enquiry through to project handover. This role acts as the link between engineering, production, and the customer, ensuring every solution meets both technical specifications and commercial expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing
technical drawings, tenders, and specifications - Preparing
competitive quotes and tender submissions - Liaising with
clients, suppliers, and internal teams - Conducting
site visits when required - Managing
follow-ups and documentation
through to handover
Qualifications-Ideal Background
- Experience in Sales, Estimating, or Account Management — ideally in construction, engineering, or manufacturing
- Ability to interpret drawings or technical documentation
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Organised and confident managing multiple proposals
- Willingness to learn.
