About the Role

Are you a seasoned estimator with a passion for residential construction and a knack for leadership? We're seeking an experienced Estimating Team Leader to join our team and help shape the future of our residential projects.

As the Estimating Team Leader, you will:

·       Lead and support a team of estimators in preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for residential builds for both the sales and production estimating disciplines.

·       Oversee the tender and contract pricing process, ensuring all submissions are competitive and compliant.

·       Collaborate with design, construction, and procurement teams to ensure alignment on project scope and cost.

·       Help foster a collaborative working environment within the team.

·       Maintain and improve estimating systems, databases, and workflows.

·       Monitor market trends, supplier pricing, and construction costs to ensure estimates reflect current conditions.

What You'll Bring

·       Proven experience in residential construction estimating.

·       Strong leadership and team management skills.

·       Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.

·       Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Buildsoft, Bluebeam, Databuild or similar).

·       Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Along with your thorough understanding of the residential construction market, building industry and processes, to be successful in this role you will be an excellent communicator with the highest level of presentation, organisation, and time management skills.  You will have a keen eye for detail and be a highly motivated individual who is reliable team player. The candidate should be able to demonstrate use of initiative and enjoy working both autonomously and collaboratively with colleagues within the estimating team and business.
