About the business

The Brisbane Clinical Neuroscience Centre (BCNC) is a thriving multi-specialist practice proudly providing patient-centred care to adults and children with brain and spine disease.

We want to foster a collaborative team environment and are devoted to empowering our team to provide exceptional patient care.

We have two roles on offer, one being in our phone hub team and one in our theatre bookings team (theatre bookings experience preferred).

PHONE HUB TEAM

Successful applicants will perform all aspects of medical reception work involved in the patient pathway: appointment management, phone calls, typing and correspondence, and concierge activities to optimise the patient experience.

Skills and experience

A minimum 2 years' industry experience would be advantageous. Experience with Healthtrack or a similar software program is desirable.

THEATRE BOOKINGS TEAM

Skills and experience

Experience with Healthtrack or a similar software program is desirable but not essential. Applicants also require:

  • Handling surgical procedure quotations. Sending accurate information to patients
  • Scheduling theatre bookings, coordinating anaesthetists, assistants, equipment and hospital bookings
  • Billing outpatient appointments and surgical procedures
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressure in a fast paced environment

Both roles will require:

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team, as well as having the initiative to work autonomously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient typing and computer skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
